I can totally relate to you franvela. We are training company and have come across this situation where students complain about online training being boring. We gamified our courses and really saw a paradigm shift in the way elearning was perceived. Try Paradiso LMS for gamified learning. IT worked for us marvelously.
Pure PDF and PPT make the training lose its vitality. I think it can be taught by video conference, so that everyone can concentrate on listening and the rest of the note-taking can be taught by video to text.
