I represented Paradiso Solutions at Learning Solutions Conference 2013 in Orlando, FL. Overall this conference was very well organized and useful for Learning and Training Professionals. The conference was mostly focused on Corporate world.

This year there were a lot of sessions on mobile technologies and LMS in cloud. I also saw many improvements in the authoring tools.

• mLearning
• Content
• Performance support
• Management systems
• Tools
• Measurement
• Media

Few important take aways or observations:

• Moodle and Totara are getting more and more popular in corporate world.
• Mobile learning solutions are still mostly on iPad. I think this will change in 2014.
• Learning officers still struggle with lack of budget and attention from upper management.
• Cloud based authoring tools are becoming more and more robust but still not widely used.
